Bag Minder


The bag minder will hold your plastic bags for you. Fill it from the top and take bags from the bottom.

Knit the Bag Minder on double points or two circular needles size 10 1/2 using your choice of worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart.

Cast on 30 stitches, join and knit in the round for 3 inches.
Begin pattern stitch:
Row 1) k1, yotwice across row
Row 2) knit the k1 and the first yo together, drop the second yo without doing anything else to it

Repeat these two rows for as long as you like. Mine is 12 inches.

Bubbles, Bubbles with Fins and Bubbles in French

Bubbles is a very versatile little fish. He can be a Baby Wash Cloth, a Scrubbie, a Dishcloth, a Washcloth, a Cat Toy and more. Bubbles may be made using any yarn that suits your intended purpose. Solids and variegated yarns both work well. Use scraps and make an exotic tropical fish. Use cotton for dish and wash cloths and acrylic or cotton for scrubbies. Bubbles is easily adapted to many sizes by working more or fewer body rows.
